At Tiny Sun Solutions, we believe that living off-grid shouldn’t mean compromising comfort, reliability, or design. We specialize in custom power and water systems for vans, boats, and tiny homes — built to support the way you want to live.

Where It Started

Tiny Sun was founded after years spent building fully off-grid homes on wheels, from the frame up. What started with a drill and a dream quickly grew into a deep dive into solar systems, battery banks, plumbing layouts, and the art of making small spaces functional, beautiful, and truly independent.

Finding Our Focus

Over time, we discovered our favorite part of the process: the systems work. The behind-the-scenes magic that makes off-grid living possible — smart solar design, clean plumbing installs, tidy wiring, and troubleshooting the tricky stuff. Tiny Sun was built to focus fully on that passion.

How We Work

We approach every project with care, craftsmanship, and clarity — whether you’re building a van, upgrading a boat, or setting up a long-term off-grid home. Our goal is to create simple, durable systems that feel effortless to use and easy to maintain, wherever you are.

Who We Build For

Whether you’re a weekend explorer, a full-time vanlifer, a liveaboard sailor, or building a tiny homestead, we’ve got you covered. We’re here to help you live more freely — with less reliance on hookups and more confidence in your setup.

What’s Possible

Your setup should support more than just the basics. It should give you the power to create, explore, and live on your own terms — whether that means launching a project, going full-time off-grid, or just taking your weekends a little further.

In the Spotlight

Tiny Sun Solutions got its start through lived experience. Before launching the business, Rob spent months on the road in a self-built van, learning firsthand what works when living off-grid. That journey was featured in Sarasota Magazine, highlighting how he turned van life into a mission to help others live more freely.
